I am the ruler

If out of nowhere I became the ruler of the world, what I would do to benefit the cause of the border is to create MEGA agreements between the US and Mexico. We would join forces, one whole army and together decide how to handle criminals and such. There would be one day where we all stand along the border, both countries separated and with the blink of an eye a HUGE firework like explosion would collapse the border. People would cheer as both sides came together. By this point of course, proper planning would have been made to make sure no laws are broken and proper order is kept. Our government would serve as a good role model to Mexico's. This would only be the beginning, next is the world.

A plan of book response

What I plan to do for my book response is a story. The reason I am doing a story is because the thing I am responding to is a story itself. One of the reasons of the response is to show how we relate. Both our stories relate in extremely similar ways. Through reading the book I remember going back to moments in my life where I felt the same thing Fransisco did. So a story to compare to breaking through is what I will do.

You are NOT alone!

NO NO NO you are not alone. My mission, let the 6 billion people in the world know this. Among those are people who speak a diffrent languages, there are ones with extremely negative hope and the ones that make sure the message does not get across. I have no absolute means of expressing this in a way that will catch every individuals attention however, I can promise through the internet, through this blogging server to any random person in the world that you are not alone.

I can promise you that myself and the incredible people I have been acquainted with devote their life to helping yours be slightly better. I can assure you that even though it seems you are stuck in a titanium box with no escape, you can escape. The escape is the people outside, the ones with the strength, the masses and compassion to help you out. Scream at the top of your lungs. Scream with all your heart and even though it seems no one is near, they are looking for you. Though we might search the wrong places, the wrong countries, it is you we search for. Just like your sadness, disadvantages and discrimination seem like unimaginable cruelties, there are unimaginable kindness. Please, believe. Even if it is just your single word that says "I believe", that says "thank you", that is enough to power a million hearts. Next time you feel alone, remember these words, you are not alone. We are here, diffrent skins and groups but we are all together. The world does not realize this but maybe you do?

Are we alone?

I can help people who are willing to be helped, I can help people who still have a chance to be helped. I have been arguing lately various debates about illegal immigration. There is always a halt, something you cant get past. I avoid that halt because it means rethinking things over again. Immigrants come under temporary work visas but overstay them. The United States could be damaged by this dis balance but then what about the people. I can imagine the poor family struggling through the survival game we call life. Closing our doors to stay safe would be selfish, how can one live knowing that outside the door are people who suffer, people with hunger. So what is that answer? What can we do to make this world a better place? What is the strategy to come one step closer to that undying hope? Does anyone care? If only everyone with power would kneel down to the ones without it and help. If only there were some type of organization that insured anyone willing an opportunity to live life as it should be lived. If only this world was not as horrid and repugnant as it can sometimes be. If only dreams were reachable, for all of us. What can we do? What WHAT can we do? I am only a 14 year old, not much can be done but in the future......

Stereotypes and their origins

What are stereotypes? I think of them as labels. Because you are this way, this is what you will do, how you will act and how you will look. Its what we think of a whole group of people. "Middle easterns are terrorist" or "White people cant jump" even "Guys that like the color pink are gay".
I think that stereotypes come from when a major amount of people in a certain group conclude the same way. Its not even about a major amount of people, just when it is that particular group that participates in the "Stereotype". Stereotypes become stereotypes for a reason. If the most commonly known terrorist are of the middle eastern ethnicity, it is evident that they will be stereotyped as terrorist.
The counts of people in a group that participate in a stereotype should not be the cause of the classification of other individuals. In my opinion, if you immediately judge a person by a stereotype and conclude with that, you are a very unwise person. The most dirtiest of homeless could the be the kindest of the kind people. As for the most clean and beautiful of humans could the most filthiest and cruel of them all. Though statistics show a high percentage are like so, keep in mind that statistics don't always include everyone.

Myspace (top friends)

Why do we have them? Is it to rank people? To let the world that you value number 1 more than 2. Whenever I click my top 8 and begin to fix people in their places my head spins in critical decisions. The thing is that though some of the people on there might not be as involved with me as others, each and every one of them (including the ones not on the top) are incredible people. Each is extently unique, they dont have the same soul as others, you are all diffrent! Each diffrent trait makes you the incredibly unique person you are. Besides, its just myspace. Lets not worry about whose the topest on someones top friends, or who has more picture comments. I just want to focus on the people, thats what truly interest me, not their place on a list or statistics of comments.

Distance

I wonder what the other parts of this world are. We concentrate on our high school drama, our own problems and the things affecting the places where WE live. I often forget about the rest of the world, the universe. Why would I do that! I feel like I am in a jail, the extending never ending world and universe out there while I am stuck in one little city. I just feel there is someone, something out there and I dont know what but it wants me to go with it. I can feel it pull me whenever I see a map of the world, or when I look at the stars. When ever I get the chance, when I feel the power to do so I just feel like sending an incredible message out to the universe, one that travels through every obstacle untouched and makes it to its desired destination. Once its there whoever it is at the other end gets my message. Everyday of my life I wonder if anyone got my message and though I feel a response I cannot understand it.

Why does the world have borders?

The world is a beautiful place but when you get a reality check, not everything is always pretty. When a large group of people gets together they can often disagree. Because some people's ideas are so strong they tend to separate. In the process of separation one might see war, hate ETC. Just like we make a fence around our back or front yards to mark its our territory (not the neighbor's) we make a border around our country.

I believe this is why we have borders, to mark our territory. Keeping terrorist out, keeping criminals out, it all revolves around protecting our own place. This protection can be good but also bad. In the process of protection one might get paranoid and dramatically close themselves from the world outside "over protection". Some vicious people might take advantage of the stance for protection to be selfish and turn others out simply because they are different. There are many reasons but so far these are the ones I see. I guess for now we have to live with a wall in between us.

The other end

Distance is scary. The distance I want to travel is beyond the stars. I mean there is so much more out there than the usual dayly sights. Imagine night time, stars shining and the moon. I know that there are things out there beyond explenation. Sicentist have found out thins about stars, novas trillions of light years ago but the coolest thing is that beyond lyes more. Its infinite! Why stay here, work with the usual when you can go beyond it. Its possible, all it takes is faith in the incredible things beyond our world. The deepest thing is the person that might be on the other side. When I look at the stars I wonder who stands at the star looking back. Who stands in the worlds around that star, I wonder if they wonder the same. Though the universe is spacious and scary, when you connect everything seems togethor and warm. Like nightime under a starry sky with your bestest friends or people.

Benefits of Neighbors

A whole cannot be if the little parts aren't in it. America is not America by itself, its America in a combination of all its countries. Together the countries create the whole that we call America.
We all influence eachother not just through countries but as individuals sitting next to eachother in a classroom.
Without its many Mexicans, the United States would not be the same. The US is an extremely diverse country. When walking through its streets you see African Americans, Mexicans, Filipino's, Chinese, Japanese. You pass these people by and treat them as if they were any other ordinary person (at least most of us). In general not just Mexico but the world makes the US a better place.
Theres also the US products. When in Mexico you see a lot of US products. In this field the US and Mexico succeed in sharing ideas like neighbors. You also see a lot of US movies in Mexico. These are famous there. Music from the US is also a great benefit for Mexico.
I am not sure if it is like this deeper into Mexico or the US. I have visited only a short perimeter of the border. From what I have seen it looks like these neighbors belongings are scattered all across eachother yards.
The network is something really big. People have connections all over. If your lucky, the US sometimes grants citizenship and this can benefit a few of Mexico's residents but the cause is still not solved.
Overall they benefit eachother like two partners each sharing their incredibly skills. Unfortunately there is a cold wall in between these two partners and they cannot fully work in the heavenly team they could be. Maybe the government and people should see the bright sides instead of the downs.

The influence of a neighbor

Some good examples of a neighbor would be the person who lives in the house next to yours. It could be someone that sits next to you in class or even the planet thats by ours.

Neighbors create relationships. If you dislike the person that sits next to you your relationship would be ignorant or very despiteful. If you are kindly acquainted with the person who sits next to you your relationship might be a friendly or productive one.

Behind the relationship is an influence. In this case I am going to talk about the United States and Mexico. These two countries are neighbors and have quite a lot of influence upon eachother. Mexico is a beautiful country with all sorts of authentic foods and riches. The United States is a world power with extreme organization and influence upon the world! Together these neighbors enrich eachother with their good traits but also damage eachother with their bad traits.

As I said in a previous blog, I do not believe that Mexico has the greatest bureaucratic system in the world. I do admit though that Mexico does have its ups as well as downs. There is not as much hipocrasy in Mexico. In the US you see clean streets, nice homes and smart government officials that speak all types of big words that persuade the citizens into voting for them. I have always wondered what goes on behind that game face they put on for the public. Quite frankly, when I hear about Bush being involved with the twin towers or Florida cheating for his presidency I don't really agree however I do not disagree. The thing is I am not at all that informed or don't know Bush personally enough to judge him as the criminal. One thing I will say though is that I am almost 100% positive that what goes on behind his game face might be the same filthy trash that most politicians are involved with.

With the previous expression of the United States government I will continue on and say that the US is responsible for a lot of harm towards Mexico. The harm might not be directly towards the country but it is to its people. I do not believe that fairness is being applied into the whole immigration issue with Mexico's citizens. They could at least have come to an agreement by now.

I don't want people to think I am on one side because Mexico has its cons as well. Don't even get me started on their government. I will give Mexico props for its individuals with extreme artistic souls and passion for justice and bravery however, I spit upon the filthy government which "guides" that innocent country. Let me put it this way, if you have money you can pretty much get away with anything. That leaves a granted territory for drug dealers or other rich trash that steals money from the people. I believe that because of these rats Mexico is unable to stand in the glory on which it could stand in a different scenario. Because of this, people are poor and live in dirty colonies under cardboard roofs. Some incredibly hard working people are discriminated and given a salary that doesn't compare even a little to the quality work they gave. Immigrants are on a desperate run for the better life of the US and are dying in desperation that they cross vast desserts of extreme heat just to get a couple of extra cents for their labor.

Though a border separates the two, influences find a way around or through. Drugs are imported from countries outside the US and people are turned away at the gate its gates. These countries fail to help eachother like a neighbor should. It brakes my heart to say that the world is not very stable at this time however, the drive that makes me go is the bright candle that is lit inside my heart. There are people out there that fight for a better country, for a better life. There are civilians that know things are wrong but are too afraid to speak up because the people with power have money and can send a hit man to kill all of their family if they make a single unwanted move. If only everyone helped eachother as neighbors and together overthrew these filthy rats, then I would be telling another story. These two countries have yet a long road to walk if they want to become true neighbors and unfortunately, at the rate their going it'll be a while before they get there.

monologe

So they want me to say whats on my mind. Well its hard to pick but then again it isnt. There are plenty things on my mind. One of them is how I am not being commented on any of my posts and that the confidence I have had this whole time is for nothing. But then again, my writing is for those who wish to read it. I understand how unpleasant it is to read something you really don't want to read. As for fame and lots of comments on my writing, PSHT who needs fame? I sure don't, in fact I could settle with a beautiful loving partner in a kind warm home in the woods with my many dogs and extravagant waterfalls of magic. But then again, I know I can do so much more. The fact that other people don't care what I write doest bother me and is DEFINITELY not going to stop me from going towards my dreams. I am also thinking I don't like the song that is playing. This one is somewhat better. I am also thinking of someone. I am always thinking of someone. Weather it is an extreme love from long ago that forever rests within my heart, or weather its the new one trying to spark through my naive heart. There is always someone in my head, in my heart. Its annoying, but at the same time so incredible. I love, love! I do. Its incredible how music can influence ones thoughts. Like when you listen to a song from a certain time period. Its like you feel what you were feeling then. Songs always make me melt and they make me so quite, too quite. I miss... *sigh*. I am a growing person, nothing can stop me. I have gone through so much, I am not about to stop now just because of some stupid comments. Oh no, I am worth MUCH more than that. As for love confusion and conflict, they are things we all encounter. I wouldn't want them any other way, except without conflic =). Life is hard, its harsh and whenever it seems you are settling for a perfect life, your world ABRUPTLY turns and makes you confused again. They don't want to see me rest, but I am fine with that as long as I am going in the right direction.

A doubting fire

Its been about two days now. San Diego is literally burning up. Its the talk of the town now, all over the news, people talk about it all over the streets. Its as if the world were about to end. Its affecting all of us, not just in a useless irritating way because I swear these dry lips are going to murder me. It makes students scream in joy because school wont be in session. I believe thats kind a pro and very exciting indeed for a student and maybe even teachers. But the thing is that many people are being affected. Houses burn down, mothers worry and fathers too. It seems that its like a flu, it flys through all of us eventually and makes us sneeze with worry or anticipation. The people who are there, in the fire feeling that heat that makes you feel hopeless, please know that you are not alone. Look at the fire fighters, they are risking their lives to help us. Theres people all over the county and even outside of it donating helpful items. The thing is that regardless of our races and differences unintentionally in the end we help eachother because we are all part of the same unit. When you look at those burning trees and homes, when you hear the howl of the fire and find yourself in an empty street that seems like the world will end, know its not. Trust me, people care and if you look for it you will find help.

Why things are different across the border

It varies around what border you are talking about. It could be the the border of the United States and Canada, or the one of Mexico and the US. In this case its Mexico and the US.
I am going to speak of one particular place, Tijuana Baja California. It is exactly outside of San Diego County. Tijuana now a days is at a critical point. All city's are but this one, I can say this because I have been there and witnessed the things that go on. Though Mexico is a beautiful country with all kinds of extravagance and incredible traits, it is not a world power. Usually the strong countries of the world have great control over injustice. Though corruption is always the filth inside dirty power, I can always seem to find a fair justice system in the US. In Mexico and ESPECIALLY in Tijuana finding justice is not an easy task. Because of this, criminals go round corrupting the richness of this extravagant country. These things are so sad. If you are someone that cares about the people you might have probably expirienced the rage when you hear about these horrendous acts.
It seems that now you cant find a single place without a hell burning fearsomely under. There is corruption here and there but one thing that I can say is not different across the borders of Mexico and the US, there is always someone there at least one person who will help you. If you lose hope you lose sight of that person, its just a matter of catching up and not falling into the lagoon of hate the corrupt government or people have created.

First Blog!

Yay! This is my first ever blog on an official blog site. Its pretty exciting since I know I will be writing tons on here because it is part of school and all. The coolest thing though is that we get to express ourselves while working with school stuff. Of course it wont always be school stuff but its still really cool that most of it is.
I really dont know what to write about except an introduction. Now I am going to go on and on about many things which might stray the point that I claimed would be delivered but to me, thats the beauty of it. I mean life and all, you expect to get this outcome and these events but once your there SO much more happens. I am telling you, almost 100% of the time you wind up in a place you would have never thought youd be in. It kind of sucks because it creates this subconscious that always tells you "What you think you are is false" or "Where you think your going is not where your going". Psht! Talk about dictatorship.
Never the less, a very wise women always tells me and my classmates "You have to make the best of what you have" so I guess I will conclude with this piece of advice. When you wind up in a place that you would have never expected to be, make the best of what you have but NEVER forget who you are.
